INTRODUCTION

Spotless car wash began when owner, Ali Abdalle, decided he wanted to open another supermarket.  He already owned one supermarket and a commercial property and thought another supermarket would be a good idea.  His friend told him about car wash machines that he had been installing in car wash businesses and convinced him to give the car wash business a shot.

The business opened in Irvington, NJ in 2007.  It features an automatic car wash bay, a 3 car oil change bay, a tire shop, a performance/custom shop, and a detail shop.  Its performance/custom shop and detail shop are leased out to 3rd party business owners.  They employ 30 workers, wash an average of 370 cars per day, and perform an average of 45 oil changes per day.  They currently hold a record of 629 cars washed and 78 oil changes in one day.

Spotless offers six different wash packages for customers to choose from.  They bring in a good portion of their business from their oil change services.  Each customer coming in for an oil change receives a complimentary basic car wash.  They are open all 52 weeks of the year and find much of their business in the colder months of the year.  Their main focus is quality and not necessarily low prices.  They believe their customer base would rather pay a little more for total satisfaction.
