CONCLUSION

Monitoring Demand:  We better understand the methods of monitoring constant factors that are always contributing to the fluctuations in demand along with monitoring factors that can only be gained through experience and acquired knowledge.  Businesses that depend on reacting to changes in demand will ultimately become unsuccessful because in most scenarios there is not a sufficient amount of time to react.  We witnessed this first hand with Spotless Car Wash.

Balancing Demand and Supply through Scheduling:  Due to Spotless’ lack of maintaining their supply of workers, they have resulted with a less efficient workforce.  We observed the strain on their workforce from not properly scheduling their employees, thus resulting in high turnover rates.

Maintaining the Triple Bottom Line:  From the time of their opening, Spotless Car Wash learned multiple ways of prioritizing the planet and community around them, while also increasing their profits.

Quality

Spotless prides themselves on the quality they offer to their customers.  Out of the four competitive priorities they keep Quality at the top of their order of capabilities.  They are willing to sacrifice cost, time, and their flexibility in order to meet delivery of quality service.
